Mike Baker serves as the Assistant Vice President for Communications and Marketing at Gettysburg College. In his role, he oversees executive communications, content strategy, design strategy, family relations, and institutional events.

Throughout his career in higher education, he has been entrusted with developing mission-aligned communications and delivering all forms of college messaging, including presidential and executive remarks, long- and short-form content, digital communications, advertising, social media, media relations, internal and crisis communications, and enrollment and fundraising marketing.

During his tenure at Gettysburg College, and previously Grove City College, Mike experienced firsthand how an integrated, data informed, and agile communications strategy can help position an institution as a thought leader in today's competitive marketplace. He has contributed to more than 50 award-winning projects; two record-setting fundraising campaigns; strategic planning and a college-wide rebrand; and the voice and vision of two respected college presidents.
